Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a multiplayer 3D platformer with Battle Royale elements, released by Mediatonic in 2020. Control a funny jellyman and lead your character through various trials, till just one is left! You can download Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout for Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4/5 and enjoy its infinite jolliness!
Never Been This Fun to Fall
The Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout genre is a lucky combination of several ones. Many levels are versions of Wipeout and similar shows where players need to run to the exit, avoiding falling bricks, hitting logs, balls, and other obstacles. Some are team-played, like football with a giant ball, reminding of Rocket League. Levels follow each other randomly, so you never know what comes next (unless you’ve been through all of them already).
Body Soft, Playing Hard
In short, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout gameplay is a sequence of short trials, each in a new environment. You need to lead your character through it, and when you are through, wait for a new one. There are both individual and team challenges. In the latter, all the remaining players are divided into two teams, and the winning team proceeds to the next level, regardless of how many players make it to the end of it.
To easier tell your character from hordes of others, you can purchase extra packs with new characters and outfits. They also include mini-games, new overall skins (neon, ice, even fast food!), and accessories you can combine.
As for controls, you can use either a gamepad or a keyboard-and-mouse setup, and on Switch it’s playable with touch controls (though Joy-Cons are better). The response is fast.
Fun, silly, and great if you want a quick session.
